Raseborg stads Tekniska nämnd godkände Karis-Ekenäs gång- och cykelvägens översiktsplan på sitt möte 13.4.2021.
Förberedelserna för byggstart pågår som bäst. Arbetena påbörjas i maj 2021 med skede 1, dvs. avsnittet Ekenäsvägen / Kodin Tavaratalo – Mekanikervägen, dvs. pl 500-5500 i ritningarna. Skede 2, pl 0-500, dvs. underfarten byggs år 2022.
